Please read the following before continuing on.
TIME THIS BOARD TAKES PLACE IN
* The plot is based in our current year.
* Unless you state otherwise in your post, the date you make a post on, is the date that the post takes place.
* Students move up every year in September.
POWER PLAYING
* Definition: Is the act of controlling another persons character.
* Action: First offense we will warn, second will require action, third will be removal from our community.
* What happens when someone power plays: The thread gets "re-wound" where we delete all posts made after the initial Power Playing incident, and the offender is asked to re-write.
GOD MODDING
* Definition: Is the act of letting your character know information that they have not obtained in the game but through you.
* Action: First offense we will warn, second will require action, third will be removal from our community.
* What happens when someone power plays: The thread gets "re-wound" where we delete all posts made after the initial God Modding incident, and the offender is asked to re-write.
* Friendly Suggestion: It's tough to remember what your character knows and doesn't know and who they have and haven't met. To better keep track of this we have an area for journals so you can document that information and prevent god modding.
OBJECTS
* Wands You need to go to Ollivander's after you've been accepted and pick out your wand.
* Other Objects The objects may not be more powerful than your wand or a substitute for a wand.
* Muggle Objects No muggle weapons, see previous statement.
* Anime Objects No objects that could be considered anime or close to it.
* Pets An Adult character can start out with an animal that is rated XXX and lower. Your Adult character can purchase something above a XXX later.
* Hogwarts Allows a rat, cat, or toad, and bringing or purchasing your own owl is perfectly all right, any other animal is forbidden, no exceptions.
BIG NO NO'S
* You can not kill another character without it being approved.
* No swearing
* Please, no post flooding or excessive posting. Give other characters a chance to reply. Some threads will have a mandatory post limit to allow time for important characters to respond.
* You are not to use slang, of any sort, in your posts, application, or chat room. We will ask you to edit.
CONFLICTS ON OR OFF THE BOARD
* If you're mad about something, please come to the Admin Staff first. The Admins have control over everyone's accounts.
* If a member is god modding or power playing please tell them that they are and if they refuse to edit their post or ignore you completely then come to the admins.
* We will not be babysitters. Usage of the Admins is a last resort if the conflict can not be solved.
EXTRAS
* All new inactive accounts will be deleted after 7 days. Basically, if you sign up and then never post, you'll lose your account after a week.
* Once every month or so, I will post an activity check. Anyone, and I do mean anyone that doesn't reply to this post, will be deleted.
* All incomplete applications will be deleted after 7 days of inactivity.
* In this game, the characters from Harry Potter existed but are no longer at the school. No one can be related to them either. No one can be a character from the book.
* This is a game, please pace yourself and enjoy your time on here.
* We only remove a person's job if they have been inactive for 1 month without notice, 2 months with notice.
* Always remember the age of your character and if what they're doing is appropriate for their age, you'll get a little notice from the staff if we feel the behavior is very unbelievable.
* All posts must be a minimum of 5 lines. Anything less and you will be warned.

* In the comment field of your post, after the statement regarding your letter, put the following:
